Oh Indonesia, you’ve stolen my heart even more! I’ve traveled to Bali many times over the past five years, but recently I was able to spend a week with Skyscanner and the Ministry of Tourism of Indonesia exploring more of Indonesia– everywhere from Komodo to Kelimutu.
It was an action-packed week, and an amazing trip!
After flying into Denpasar, I spent the first few days settling in to Bali (sunsets at Uluwatu and all), getting rid of my jet lag and exploring the GWK Cultural Park! As always, Bali didn’t disappoint.
The next day we flew from Denpasar over to Flores for 3 nights– a beautiful island in eastern Indonesia, and one that I would highly recommend. During our days in Labuan Bajo, we stayed at Le Pirate Resort, ventured to Padar Island and Pink Beach, Melo Village, Cunca Waterfall, and spotted Komodo dragons!
A major highlight for me was scuba diving in Komodo National Park!
The next day we hopped over to Ende to explore and experience the Wologai cultural village and do a sunrise hike to Kelimutu— it was an unbelievable experience.
