Fall Travel Style Guide: 2017 Edition

2017 Fall Travel Style Guide

Fall has arrived and “sweater season” is upon us! But you don’t have to stick to sweaters and sweatpants this fall– with these new style trends, you’ll find some inspiration to spice up your wardrobe and add some new travel-friendly styles to suitcase.

This fall, layer up with neutral, earth colors, and sleek mini skirts and leggings. Be sure to grab some embroidered booties, and style them with some fun  accessories.

Here’s my 2017 fall travel style guide!

Sweaters & Long Sleeves

Oversized sweaters or comfy long sleeves will be the most comfortable addition to your wardrobe, hands down. Pair with light denim or leggings, your favorite sneakers, and there you have it– a cute and casual outfit to cruise in.

A Line Skirts

Corduroy A-line skirts are coming back, and it’s a trend I can get on board with. Pair with a crop top, cardigan, or flowy blouse and it’s a perfect outfit for a day out.

Denim Jumpsuit

I’m a big fan of denim year round, and jumpsuits are so great for travel! Pair with a crop top and booties or white sneakers, and you’re set.

Tunics & Blouses

Make sure to grab a few travel-friendly tunics and long-sleeve blouses this fall. You can mix and match with any style of denim or leggings, as well as booties or sneakers!

Leggings

With colder weather on the horizon, there’s not better go-to than comfortable leggings that are stylish enough to rock with a tunic or cute sweater.

Blazers

Blazers and longline coats are a staple for this fall. I have a few styles in different neutral colors, and here are some of my go-to styles!

Booties

Black booties are a style staple year-round, and I love these basic Basel booties from Lucky Brand. This season embroidered booties are all the rage, and here are some of my favorites!

Bags

A cross body purse is essential for travel and day-to-day use. You’ll want one that can hold your camera, wallet, and any small personal items.

Accessories

It’s the perfect addition to boho-up an outfit or add some detail to a dress or denim pants. I am obsessed with Janessa Leoné’s new wide brim hats!
